About Me

New Brunswick Photo Workshop

Exhibit 2014

I love the concept of simplicity and form in photography, particularly when the final product has qualities of the abstract.  The standard definition of abstract in the world of art is to make reality unrecognizable. A broader concept might be to represent the subject, not as unrecognizable, but simply in a non-literal manner.  I am currently interested in creating photographs that capture the eye and encourage lingering through this more liberal definition of abstract.
Most of my photos are taken in Vermont where I have lived for over 40 years. This website has more \”traditional\” photos–landscape, flowers, trees, but I strive for the unusual–either in perspective or color.  Your questions and comments are always encouraged.

I am so sad to hear of Pat’s passing. She had so much more to give.
